i think when you start thinking this way you are hurting your chances of making solid plays and putting yourself in a fav only mode..guaranteed you would make more if you handicapped each game and played it on its own merit.

1. Oklahoma State will light up Stanfords defense like a christmas tree.
2. Oklahoma is playing Iowa, IOWA nuff said
3. Michigan probably doesn't deserve to be in a BCS bowl game over Michigan State but they will be too much for a V-Tech team who lost by over 20 points twice to the only ranked team they played all season.
4. Baylor is playing washington, as long as RG3 doesn't let the heisman go to his head if he wins it, this will be a blowout.
5. Boise State is going to take out some frustration on Arizona State
6.Arkansas- kind of going out on a limb here, this is potentially a bad matchup for Arkansas b/c K-State is a good running team and Arkansas can't tackle for shit. But I see Arkansas scoring more points in a shootout. I think the total set at 64 is about right.
7. And LSU over Bama , this game has me salivating at the mouth. I admit I don't have much money right now but if I did I would go HUGE on LSU. I plan to save until that game and put every penny I can get a hold of on LSU. This game will not be close like the first one.

1. weeden didnt give Stanford any new tape for the nerds to analyze last week. threw no TD passes in blowout win over Oklahoma.
2. oklahoma's number 1 rusher (whaley) and number 1 receiver (top NFL prospect ryan broyles) are both now out for the year. Their plan was to throw it to broyles until they put enough guys on him then let the resta the guys run free.

4.. if the huskies can stop 2 guys they can win. RG3 and kendal wright.

6. was pissed to see these two teams playing eachother. this will be one of the most entertaining bowl games. either could win. slight edge arkansas. 85 percent chance arkansas loses the first half su.

i agree here. stanford looked so damn slow against oregon. i think it might be close at the half, but oklahoma state will keep that pace high and will score like crazy in the 2nd half.

I agree, this is quite a bit harder than some in here are thinking it will be. My book currently only shows 5 teams favored by more than a single TD. So even if the favorite wins all 5 of those (fat chance), you'd still have to accurately pick a SU winner in 5 games with a spread smaller than 7.

Every play looks like a sure thing before kickoff.

I actually don't like your top 3. I definitely think Oklahoma State and Michigan will lose, and Oklahoma "should" win, but the problem I have with them is I don't think they want to be there 4-5-6 all look solid. I agree with LSU too, but would not classify them as safe.

HUH? Stanford's defense is MUCH better than OK State's. They only had the one bad game vs. Oregon, and OK State's offense is more pass oriented, the kind of team Standford defends well. No I am not saying that Cowboys will be completely shut down, but the edge the Stanford defense has over the OSU defense is bigger than the edge the OSU offense has on the Stanford offense.
