LSU vs. Indy Colts, what would line be?

This team is unreal, think they would give the Colts a game.

Line would be Colts -6 or so, I would pound LSU.

I would pay money to watch Jefferson try to read a NFL defense.

Trade Luck for Jefferson and I think you got a ball game. I usually hate this question, but Painter aint moving the ball at will v the LSU defense.

If they played conservative on offense LSU would be able to contain the Colts offense but if they fell behind might have like 7 turnovers but LSU defense and special teams could hold their own.

You can't tell me the talent gap is any bigger than college games like USC v. Stanford or App St. v. Michigan. Tim Tebow is basically a college qb leading an NFL team, and has already surpassed what 98% of people thought he was capable of.

Colts would be favored by at least 30, but LSU has size and speed all over special teams and defense. Offense is where they would truly be exposed, but if the stars aligned just right, I think it could be a lot more competitive than most think.

MOST of the great college players have a hard time adjusting to the nfl never mind being in college with college teammates playing against professionals there would be 9-10 mismatches in the pro favor

I think it would be something like -42 Colts like someone else said.

This reminds me of when I was in the 5th grade and our High School football team was undefeated and they ended up winning the State Championship. In the meantime... our NFL team was one of the worst in the league. A buddy of mine suggested that our High School team could beat our NFL team and I believed him. I wonder what the line would be for that game?

Not really sure that there is a way, empirically, to derive a line but I am 99% sure that you are waaay off.

What about the Miami team with these guys?

Among the numerous stars on the 2001 Miami squad were: quarterback Ken Dorsey; running backs Clinton Portis, Willis McGahee, Najeh Davenport, and Frank Gore; tight end Jeremy Shockey; wide receiver Andre Johnson, and Kevin Beard; tackles Bryant McKinnie and Joaquin Gonzalez; defensive linemen Jerome McDougle, William Joseph, and Vince Wilfork; linebackers Jonathan Vilma and D.J. Williams; and defensive backs Ed Reed, Mike Rumph, and Phillip Buchanon. Additional contributors included future stars Kellen Winslow II, Sean Taylor, Antrel Rolle, Vernon Carey, and Rocky McIntosh. In all, an extraordinary 17 players from the 2001 Miami football team were drafted in the first-round of the NFL Draft (5 in the 2002 NFL Draft: Buchanon, McKinnie, Reed, Rumph, and Shockey; 4 in 2003: Johnson, Joseph, McDougle, and McGahee; 6 in 2004: Carey, Taylor, Vilma, Wilfork, Williams, and Winslow; 1 in 2005: Rolle; and 1 in 2006: Kelly Jennings).

That team would kick the Colts ass too.
