Stuart Scott just referenced gambling on ESPN's Top 10

After the wisconsin bank 3 at the end of the game, he said it brought intense joy to some and misery to others. Surprised he knew the 2nd half line.

    edit: mistakenly said mich

Actually it was Scott Van Pelt, and he referenced the Wisconsin/NCaro game.

Scott Van Pelt openly talks about his degeneracy on his daily radio show.

here a question i always wonder. since many of these announcers look like they place bets, shouldn't they be making a killing esp. with all the supposedly "inside" info one can get in those positions or is they basically action junkies and losing like the rest of the public?

A lot of them look like there just action junkies, but I agree with access to the info they have and guys like schefter and mort they can get information before anyone, even the books.

I dunno but I would wager that they are probably the biggest hamburgers in the industry with all the square teams they back.

Just look at Stuart Scott's creepy eye brow...and you know he's a wild man

Colin on 'The Herd' and Sports Nation....you know he gambles...of course he's always making his little fun picks and so forth, but he has on more than one occasion talked about 'talking to a guy in Vegas and the line being xyz....my buddy who does this in Vegas said the average joe is betting heavily on...."
