Michigan in the BCS? WTF?
ESPN is projecting Michigan for the Sugar. Never even occurred to me....even with their strong traveling crowds...that they'd be a BCS team. Michigan is the third highest BCS ranked team in the B10. God forbid a deserving team get it.
Just another example of why bowl games outside of the NCG are a joke and are strictly for gambling purposes only.
They've been projected to go for awhile now. They are allowed to go even though they are 16th in BCS? I don't bother reading the rules of the useless BCS anymore. Just know the top 4 automatically get spots.

You have to realize it's all a product of the fukked up system. Two SEC teams in the Championship game steals the SEC spot in the Sugar Bowl. The 2nd spot is at-large. With the SEC teams out, it becomes the Sugar Bowl's choice of whatever match-up they want. Michigan draws better than Michigan State in football any day of the week. Wisconsin isn't getting screwed by the way ... Big Ten Champ goes to the Rose Bowl and they are probably gonna be it.

Same for Notre Dame, Ohio St, or any other teams with millions of well heeled fans. Conversely, most Boise fans are mouth breathing droolers who live on some type of gubment assistance. They don't have money for bowl games.

10 BCS teams this year and only like 4-5 are worthy.

Last season they beat Wisconsin head to head and had the same record as the Badgers but lost later in the year and wound up in the Capital One instead of the Rose.
This season they beat Michigan head to head and had the same record, but they'll lose in the insignificant Big Ten title game and get passed over by the Wolverines.

Greg Mattison is a fantastic defensive coordinator. Michigan is playing good defense with the shit recruits from the Rich Rod era. Imagine how good they will be when they have Brady Hoke recruits.

MSU may not have the full national draw that Michigan does, but to say their fanbase is "100 times bigger" is a joke. MSU is a national power in hoops, they've become a consistent winner under Dantonio, and MSU is the ninth largest school enrollment-wise in the country.
