First of all: any smart bettor hit Mayweather wins by decision -160 vs. unanimous for -150. The extra 10 "cents" didn't warrant the risk IMO.

unless there is absolutely no way whatsoever to score it one way or another, you give it 10-10, but you can't have a bunch of 10-10s in a fight,

if the same number of power punches are landed, then you move to the number of jabs landed and ring generalship ie who was dictating the fight, etc etc,

there is always some criteria to use
