ESPN Trying To Start Rumor About Favre/Texans

I'm watching ESPN First Take to see what they have to say about the Matt Schaub situation. They use the time on the subject to talk about the potential of the Texans calling Brett Favre. I can understand if it would be a side note to talking about the Texans' dilemma, but to make it the main subject? Come on guys! There's enough stories out there. Don't start trying to formulating some.

    The ESPN journalisitic formula:
    Stir the pot
Add rumours, inflammatory remarks, hold roundtable discussions
Sit back once it hits a head and act like they are respectable unbiased media

Doesn't seem entirely implausible to me. Don't know what shape he's in though.

I sure cannot see this happening at all. Brett is done.

Favre will be a Texan after they see two weeks of Matt at the helm.

You mean ESPN First Take actually discussed something besides Tim Tebow? Amazing

    Couldn't agree more.

Favre or getting Kyle Orton down there for the rest of the season wouldn't be a bad move. Give the ball to Foster 25X a game, then a bunch of check down passes to Foster, not tough for any QB, except for Leinart.

I think Leinhart surprises people here. Kubiak wanted to keep him, but didn't think he had a chance of him coming back. Just as much as I have faith in what Wade Phillips is doing with the D, I have that same faith in Kubiak's decisions about the offense. I say Leinhart revives his career.

I will give 200 betpoints to the first pro that puts up 40 points. I say Favre will not play in a Texans game this season.
