    I don't get the excitement over the Ipads in the store. It is the cheapest model and no data plan, you have to be near a wifi you can connect to. An Ipad with 3g for $130 more gives you the freedom of being almost anywhere and follow a game/place a bet. I'd rather get a bunch of pizza and Wal-Mart gift cards.

    the original ipad is only $130 now? How much does the internet plug in that gives you a connection everywhere cost?

    I don't know anything about Ipads or whatever. Got one from the store as a x-mas gift for somebody. It arrived in two days, but I haven't even opened the box yet.

    It's 14.99/month for the cheapest plan, and I have never used up all of my time.
    The $130 more I was talking about is how much more you pay for the wi-fi + 3g. The Ipad in the store is only wi-fi.

    If you have nice smartphone with a decent screen you really don't need an ipad.
