Only way I could see Lebron in the NFL is a flexed out TE. He's too tall to be an effective in-line blocker. It would depend if he could get low - which he may be able to do with his athletic ability. His first step quickness would be tough to stop, but it comes down to how agile he is in/out of his breaks. That's asking a lot.

But realistically, I think 'no'. It's a totally different physical skill set to play in the NFL than it is to play in the NBA.

Why can't Lebron be a Top 10 kicker or punter in the NFL? His height won't be an issue in these positions.

    Lebron playing football?!?!

Even he knows better to stay in the NBA

He's built... but he couldn't take the hits.

    He's not even a top 50 WR

Is it true the Durant is turning out to be 7'0?

    Love is actually 6'7

    Lebron might be 6'11!!!!!

for B-ball purposes, all that really matter is a player's reach, when he extends his hand straight up!

you could be tall with a 9 inch neck like boss, but if you have short arms what does it matter how high your skull is in b-ball?

we need to get some measuring tapes into the locker rooms these finals...

Measure some koks while we are at it!!!

might be something to bet on instead of this blow out finals

he played in high school, so its not like he doesn't have some experience...

one thing that makes larry fitzgerald so great..besides his super hands and body control (both things Lebron would have too) is his leaping ability and uncanny ability to be at full extension and full height on his jump when he catches the ball... he gets the ball where no one else can...guy is freak

Lebron would do this and add and extra foot to 18 inches to his advantage against some 5'10 185 lb DB.... how would they stop him
I know you said this in 09. But Lebron weights 270 pounds. If not more. There's no tight end that weighs that much and runs routes.

Who's gonna tackle 6'10 275 pound Lebron James in the open field running at 4.4 speed?

    5'9 190 pound Tyrone Mathiew?

    LMAO

Look at all the basketball aspiring NBA players that couldn't make the NBA and turned out to be stud tight ends:

    Tony Gonzo
    Antonio Gates
    Jimmy Graham

All had no chance of making the NBA, but tried. Then turned to football.

3 of the best tight ends ever to play.

And Lebron isn't better than those 3?

    Lol.

    I win another thread.
