    **VIDEO** MMA Winner 11/12

    Cain Velasquez -160 (4UNITS)

Ben Henderson/Clay Guida Goes the dist. -230 (3UNITS)

    Parlay both (1Unit)

I know this thread is early but Cain's line keeps falling. Opened at +120. It may come back a bit and close at -150. I like Cain to take DosSatos down and control the fight on the ground. Velasquez is a little different than your typical MMA wrestler. Play at your own risk. GL and have a great week!

Figured some of you will get a kick out of this classic country hit...

Crap, I had to switch up a youtube vid as one didn't cross over. This is the one that should stay. Mods can delete the other if they can.

Velasquez is my favorite heavyweight but I also think dos Santos wins...those knees are still going to be shaky.

    Good luck BigDay

    Good shit brotha...same plays

People exaggerating the "ring-rust" factor far too much IMO...Cain just isn't the kind of dude who's going to suffer significantly from that - likes of Rashad and Big Nog blitzed their opponents after long lay-offs and injuries...hell Ed Herman has won two on the bounce each in first round after almost 2 years out - so I find it hard to imagine Cain suffering greatly!

Whys this not showing on MMA section as well?

Agreed. I also like the fact that Cain hasn't been KO'd. I believe that if he gets himself into trouble standing he will find a way to easily out grapple DosSantos.

Also, there is a slight chance that Ben Henderson can catch Guida, but I actualy think Guida's camp will try to keep this fight standing and avoid the ground. Guida stays very busy on his feet and is a very hard standup fighter to train for. There is a good chance that Guida wins by a split dec or some sort.
I just see that fight going the dist.

The only thing stopping me from taking Cain was that he had a long layoff, but due to fighters like the ones you mentioned as well as Sonnen/Belcher coming back and manhandling their opponents I've decided that ring rust is a minuscule factor at best. I am hoping line on Cain goes down closer to fight time though. GL

I definitely think its a fighter-dependent factor, because for every Rashad or Big Nog someone like Shogun will look absolutely horrible in his first fight after a long recovery from injury. That being said Cain definitely isn't the type that I would expect the long layoff to effect. His work ethic is second to none and one of his biggest advantages in this fight is the grind and pace he can put up, so I doubt he comes in underprepared.

I'm riding the Cain train too. It's the biggest bet of the year for me. Cain has won a good chunk of change but at the same time I've lost a bit fading Dos Santos a few times. However, with this match up I seriously think Cain has a significant edge, his striking is very underrated and has evolved with every fight. Even if a he does get tagged a few times its hard to see him going down after walking straight into those kill shots from Cheik Kongo and surviving. Cain also has a huge advantage in the wrestling and cardio department. Cain's cardio is so good it has been reported by multiple sources that he outworks lightweights like Josh Thomson in the gym.

As for the Guida-Hederson play, I don't see much value in that line. Good luck all.

One last thing for all you player's talk guys, if you didn't know this fight will be free on Fox.

Hasn't clay guida been in a lot of wars?Usually doesn't work to well with chalky distance props. I don't know much about mma just wondering... good luck.

I agree, but I took him once at -175 and once at -180. It was -160 for a good while, I shoulda hit it then. I think he's good up to -220. I just don't see him losing this fight. JDS couldn't put Carwin away, he sure as hell isn't gonna do anything to Velasquez.

Dude, r u sure you don't have something for guys? these comments of how one guys hair looks nice and other not very masculine comments are just weird as hell... Also, now that Opie1988 is trying to fill your shoes do you think this will happen with him too? we already know he did a tranny here in CR for the Bash, do those kind of things rub off? (hmm, maybe wrong choice of wording here) and further more will he start losing his hair TOO??
