Joe pa and the politics of an indictment

I just watched the entire press conference granted by the Attorney General's Office and State Police. It was on our Pennsylvania channel and was quite lengthy. It was obvious by the questions from the more savvy newsmen that how could certain university officials and athletic officials be charged and people like Joe Paterno skate free. No one could answer the question satisfactorily—neither Linda Kelly (Penna. Attorney General) nor any of the state police officials. Every indictment ever handed down always boils down to whom they decide to charge and whom they decide to let skate. They claim Paterno properly mentioned it to the proper people. Some newsmen even asked why Sandusky was allowed on the field with some kids from his charity after he had left his job, and how come no one said anything about this nor complained or protested. The officials were mute and at a loss for words. From what I can see, it seems to me that the officials charged lied when they were subpoened by the investigating grand jury, and that certainly set them up for a fall. Most officials commented that "Mr. Paterno was always cooperative and did mention certain things to his superiors." How noble!

Some of the incidents go back to almost a decade. Get a load of this, the AG stated that you do not necessarily need the name of a victim to press charges, and, as we speak, they still do not have the names of some of the victims. The entire scandal broke because of one kid and his parents making a complaint to a little local police station.

This thing will blow wide open. Clearly there is a lot disturbing evidence, victims and testimony still to be heard.

Penn State U as a whole will probably be put on probation for letting a pedofile conduct criminal acts on their campus and will be reprimanded severly as they should be.

They in turn will clean house with the whole football coaching staff affiliated with that scum bag Sundusky.

    Case closed.

It's a moral obligation. If anybody sees a young child getting raped, they NEED to go to the authorities. Grad assistant failed. Joe Pa, in all likelihood, knew what was going on and kept quiet because of loyalty, and that is beyond disgusting and sickening. They all need to be fired.

How can Penn State in good conseince let Paterno coach another game He knew what this scumbad did on campus and did nothing. How many kids lives are ruined by someone not coming foward. I grew up watching Penn St. football and Paterno was a legend but this will forever tarnish his legacy. This scandal is so more worse and sickening than USC and Ohio States. What I am thinking is that the University has not fired him to give him a chance to resign but He does not deserve to coach another game or play at Penn State if he knew what was going on and did nothing. This Scum bag Sundusky was still running camps for kids at Penn State satellite campuses last year and working out at Penn State weight rooms up to two weeks ago. Someone at Penn State needs to stand up No more Joe.
