And yes I still think whoever wins the SECCG will be invited to the BCSNC!
    Two-team tie-breaker procedure
    1) Head-to-head competition between the two tied teams.
    2) Records of the tied teams within the division.
    3) Head-to-head competition vs. the team within the division with the best overall record (divisional and non-divisional) Conference record and proceeding through the division. Multiple ties within the division will be broken from first to last.
    4) Overall record vs. all non-divisional opponents.
    5) Combined record vs. all common non-divisional teams.
    6) Record vs. common non-divisional team with the best overall Conference (divisional and non-divisional) record and proceeding through other common non-divisional teams based on their order of finish within their division.
    7) The tied team with the highest ranking in the Bowl Championship Series Standings following the last weekend of regular-season games shall be the divisional representative in the SEC Championship Game.

    Three or more-team procedure
    1) (Once the tie has been reduced to two teams, go to the two-team tie-breaker format.)
    2) Combined head-to-head record among the tied teams.
    3) Record of the tied teams within the division.
    4) Head-to-head competition vs. the team within the division with the best overall (divisional and non-divisional) Conference record and proceeding through the division. Multiple ties within the division will be broken from first to last.
    5) Overall record vs. non-division teams.
    6) Combined record vs. all common non-divisional teams.
    7) Record vs. common non-divisional team with the best overall Conference (divisional and non-divisional) record and proceeding through other common non-divisional teams based on their order of finish within their division.
    8) The tied team with the highest ranking in the Bowl Championship Series Standings following the last weekend of regular-season games shall be the divisional representative in the SEC Championship Game, unless the second of the tied teams is ranked within five-or-fewer places of the highest ranked tied team. In this case, the head-to-head results of the top two ranked tied teams shall determine the representative in the SEC Championship Game.
All things being equal with respect to record (with all three being 11-1 and each having lost to one of the other two), it would ultimately come down to ranking of the top two teams, and unless LSU really shits the bed in the last few weeks AND Arkansas pulls up into the top 4-5, then the nod would go to LSU for having beaten Alabama and being higher in the rankings.

So even if Arkansas beats LSU convincingly, Alabama would still be above them because of their win over the Hogs, unless Alabama loses one of their final games to go to 10-2

Too big, I think. However some kind of playoff, even if it was the top 4 teams would make for some unreal games.

32 would be fun though. That way there wouldn't be a lot of bickering over teams getting left out of the playoffs. They could start the playoffs in late November

Here are couple of reasons why LSU are not as good as people thinks.
    Alabama beat themselves
when LSU beat Oregon; Oregon turned the ball over 4 times and lost my only 7 points
Look at one of the team that LSU beat, W. Virginia, nothing special. W. Virginia lost to Syracuse by double digits and Syracuse is not that great. I would love to see either Stanford or Oregon play in the National Championship against LSU. If against Stanford, i will bet everthing i have on Stanford. If against Oregon, if they don't turn the ball over, Oregon will win by at least 7

I'll bet 500 pts to anyone in this thread on LSU -9 vs. Arkansas. In other words, I'll take LSU -9 for 500 pts.

If you have to think of that many reasons as to why you think LSU is not that good, then......

Meet me back here later in the year and I'll bet you 1500 pts on LSU minus whatever and could care less who they play in BCS Natl Champ game.

Why do some say LSU is getting no respect?
I think ranked at number one they are getting alot of respect.

In fact it seems most people all over lsu, no way anything can happen, they already have the title in hand...

It really sounds to me like arky is getting no respect.
If that is the case watch out. this could get very interesting come thanksgiving.

Petrino likes to air it the fk out, this will be fun to watch.

No doubt. I just don't think Arkansas is as good as they were last year.
LSU has lock down corners and can rush the passer. Would you like to make a pts bet on that game cant call it?

They do miss mallet, but wilson can toss the rock pretty damn good himself. Lsu has no doubt top notch defense but did get torched by geno smith. I still think lsu will win this game. They have a ridiculous amount of momentum right now, and its still very possible they could steamroll arkansas. They are playing in BR so that doesn't help Arkansas either. But this is a 2:30 pm game I believe, if lsu comes out sluggish they may have to play catchup which is the last thing you want to get caught up with playing a team like arkansas. I would imagine Arkansas has taken a ridiculous amount of time to prepare for this game, especially since last saturday. The hogs could be ready to unleash an atomic bomb and shock the college football world. Their defense is poor though, so they will probably lose this one. I am interested in what the line will be, it could be a bet I will take you up on.

I am not an LSU homer trust me. I am a homer of whoever I have money on. I just really like teams with a great pass rush and great secondary. Not to mention great special teams and athletes all over the field.

I think LSU matches up well against passing teams like Arkansas, Okie State, and Stanford.

^^. Arkansas has alot of slow fat boys in their rotation. Just look at LSU and Bama compared to other teams; they're cut and athletic. LSU rolls!

    one more interesting stat

Arkansas is #1 in Redzone Defense in SEC - 9th in the Nation
LSU is DEAD LAST in Redzone Defense in SEC

Arkansas Redzone Scoring is 2nd in SEC behind only LSU at 88.1%

this will be fun to find out how it plays out

I'd like to see Arkansas win just to see who they pick for the SEC Championship. There would be two pissed off armies of hilljacks either way. I like Okie State to win it all no matter who they play. It wouldn't be Georgia vs Hawaii this time. Blackmon (93 catches, 14 tds) from Okie State should probably win the Heisman....they would put up atleast 30 on anyone.

These teams typically do play close games. LSU won't be a double figure favorite; the line shouldn't be over 7. I still think LSU will get it done. Ark has a solid team; but there is no getting around the fact that they did struggle against Ole Miss and Vandy. Vandy has a much better team than usual; but Ole Miss is terrible.

Say what you will; I still think if Vandy doesn't have the fumble at the goal line; Ark goes down. Yes, I know they didn't; just saying. They got pushed around much of that game. At the end of the day; LSU will see the SEC title game at the end of the tunnel; and will wear Ark down starting late in the third qtr...

LSU is a team that will find a way to get it done in a big game; they always do. Betting against them in a big game, at home, betting Ark can block their Def front so Wilson can even throw, and betting on the Ark Def stopping the running game; is a risky proposition.

I'm talking about interior lineman. How can you be fat if you're a linebacker, corner or wide receiver??? And where was the team speed against Alabama?

since when did interior lineman speed matter that much in college.. never.

they are big and will stop the inside run. that is the point of it.

the problem against Bama was 4 key players out with injuries.
something not a lot of people realize...

This. How many scoring opportunities do you need?

Alabama could have easily won 21-6, bad play calling, bad luck, no heart, gave LSU the win. It wasn't LSU winning, it was Alabama LOSING.

And anybody who watched the Arkansas/Alabama game, that game was a lot closer than the final score showed.

Ummmm Derek do you know anything about football ?

There are 3 phases to a game!

    1) OFFENSE
    2) DEFENSE
    3) SPECIAL TEAMS

I'm sorry but Alabama lost it BIG on special teams and LSU had a clear cut advantage in that area. Offense and defense was both equal. The only advantage was special teams!

Learn the game son and stop being the average Joe Blow who put special teams to the side like it's not important to the game of football

And Dereck Alabama dominated y'all! You all can't stop the run and I'm here to tell you LSU and Arkansas are both similar in that aspect! Instead of LSU having 1 stud at RB we have 4 running backs who can line up and run the peel!

And let me not talk about our defense!
