Serious question for other big timers: how much do you outsource?

If you do not bet for a living then stop reading now.

As any big timer knows, there are so many hours in the day. And the cost of our time is very high. But there are many tedious tasks in life that need to be completed. To what extent do you outsource them? Lately I have been outsourcing more and more and each time I think "why didn't I do this sooner?". Do you:

    - Have a maid?
    - Have someone else do your cooking?
    - Have someone do random errands? Anything from getting a coffee to sending a **.
    - etc.

What are some other good outsourcing ideas? The one that has worked best for me is the outsourcing of data collection. It is really nothing to pay someone $1000 to get you a solid database through either manual data entry or coding.

I feel big timers are all over the spectrum in this regard. Fishhead for instance outsources nothing and I wonder why. Despite being a millionaire you will see him all over Vegas standing in long lines for a free $5 value meal.

I have a maid that comes once a week. She tells me I have the cleanest place she ever cleans. I don't really need her but I like having it done weekly...I don't cook, eat out daily...I do all my own errands... Baruch HaShem Mathy!

I don't think it's that difficult to balance your daily life with preparing to make plays. How messy could your place get if you're just sitting on the computer all day and doing research. Cooking for one isn't very time consuming or messy. Unless you're driving 45 minutes to get a coffee, go to the post office, supermarket, dry cleaning, whatever....then it shouldn't be that big of a deal.

I find it hard to believe that your time is SO valuable that you have to pay good money to have them done.

I understand where Mathy is coming from. I hate having to leave the house on a Saturday or Sunday in the fall, for example to get groceries. Too much action going on and too many bets to be made, halftimes, calls to locals, etc.

Not a big timer, but my experience tells me doing enough stuff outside of betting is actually +ev for health long term. Don't just look at the money figure.

Doing dishes, cleaning my sizable pad, doing laundry, ironing silk shirts, etc.

This is all a waste of time and not necessary for mathy to do.

Sharp comment about me posting on the forum - I do obtain leisurely pleasure from that. I didn't say I was too busy to do all these tasks, I would just like more time to post, drink, chase tail.

Deuce - does Alex from BetOnline send out letters saying 'Deuce has been crushing us again this summer' or does it say 'mathdotcom has been crushing us again this summer'. Here's how I have been doing at betonline lately.

All of the aforementioned ideas are fodder for small timers.

I had catheter installed so as not to pull me away from line shopping.

Now that's dedication. Reminds me of dudes in college that wore adult diapers during the Super Bowl. Pretty gross imo.
