    question about hockey totals

    tonight canucks/flames

    under 5.5 is -125


    but the over 2.5 for both teams teams
    is juiced

    canucks over 2.5 -135
    flames over 2.5 -115

    why is that ?

    Cause its more likely for one team to win 3-0 or 3-1, or 3-2.

    hard question to answer. i cant get a grip on nhl team totals but i would venture to say that one of those teams will score more than 2.5 .

    they arent impossible but the juice on unders is retarded and not worth it.

    Overtime cant turn a win on a 5.5 total into a loss, so essentially the 5.5 is a regulation only wager. But OT will help a team go from 2 to 3 goals in a 2-2 game.

    The NHL average for goals per game is around 2.75 per team...that being said and with overtime/shootout rules, someone has to get to three. You'll only see totals of 5 with very very good goalie matchups or two defensive teams. Totals of 6 are seen very rarely nowadays...so the only recourse is to adjust juice.

    actually that was another question i had vegas

    is there ever a 6.5

    or 4.5 for totals

    or just juiced adjusted

    obviously i know the olympics is different but i remember seeing totals like 7 or 8 or lower like 4.5 depends on who is playing
