    I certainly wouldn't take the puck line in this game. Regulation if you don't want to play the ML. I have been considering placing a bet on the Ducks though.

    The capitals are 3-7 (-12.5 Units) in home games after a loss by 2 goals or more in their previous game over the last 2 seasons. Furthermore, the capitals are 109-153 (-56.2 Units) in non-conference games since 1996. Although the ducks are 2-4 in its last 6 games when playing Washington at home they are 5-2 over the last 7 games.

    My simulator, although it states a larger than 50% probability (52%) that the capitals win this game SU, places the value on the Ducks.

    I'd be happy to hear a reason why I should place a bet, but I'd prefer the reason be more than, 'their due' or 'they are at home'. If simple things like this worked, the bookies would be broke.

    Seems like every time I take a Caps PL they don't cover. Just going with ML here parlayed with Wings ML Hate taking heavy faves but I think they both stop their losing streaks

    Not looking good.

    I took Caps PL but also did a smaller Regulation bet on Anaheim to hedge it a little and minimize losses (was +220)

    Still I never imagine the Caps losing 2-0 off the bat in the 1st period. Not looking good for them. If they can't cover they're better off losing and I'll try and get them on Friday or Saturday vs Carolina or NYI respectively ...
