    (auburn game college rule)

    BOYS DONT ASK ME WHY BUT I WAS CHANNEL SURFING SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND STUMBLED ON THE END OF THE OLE MISS AND AUBURN GAME.AUBURN HAD A BIG LEAD BUT OLE MISS SCORED ON THE LAST PLAY OF THE GAME.IT DIDNT AFFECT THE TOTAL IN THIS GAME I DONT THINK THE FINAL SCORE WAS 41 TO 23

    MY QUESTION TO YOU GUYS IS IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL HOW COME THEY DIDNT KICK THE EXTRA POINT OR GO FOR A 2 POINT CONVERSION.THE GAME JUST ENDED AND THAT WAS IT NO DISCUSSION ABOUT THE EXTRA POINT OR ANYTHING WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF YOU NEEDED THAT EXTRA POINT FOR YOUR TOTAL.

    HOW COME OLE MISS DIDNT KICK THE EXTRA POINT AFTER SCORING ON THE LAST PLAY OF THE AUBURN GAME YESTERDAY IF IT WAS A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME THEY WOULD HAVE KICKED THE EXTRA POINT

    I DONT REMEMBER EVER SEEING THIS BEFORE BOTH TEAMS JUST WALKED OFF THE FIELD NOT EVEN A THOUGHT OF KICKING THE EXTRA POINT.LOOK AT THE BOX SCORE OLE MISS SCORED A TOUCHDOWN ON THE LAST PLAY OF THE GAME AND HAD 6 POINT FOR THE 4TH QUARTER AND BANG OFF THE FIELD THEY WENT.THAT EXTRA POINT CERTAINLY COULD HAVE AFFECTED THE TOTAL ON THIS GAME OR ANY FUTURE GAME.

    ISNT THERE A RULE IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL YOU HAVE TO KICK THE EXTRA POINT AFTER SCORING WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF THAT POINT MEANT THE DIFFERENCE ON YOUR OVER UNDER BET

    Jim- that is not correct, when the clock hits 0:00 the game is over with, no matter if it ends with a field goal or touchdown. Basically, its because both teams know the game is over with. Why would you even bother? It sucks sometimes if your betting over/under but that is the rule.

    ARE YOU TELLING ME IF THEY SCORED IN THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME IN THIS SAME SITUATION WITH MILLIONS BET ON THE TOTAL THEY WOULDNT HAVE KICKED THE EXTRA POINT.IN A MEANINGLESS GAME LIKE YESTERDAY MAYBE BUT IF THIS WAS THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME THEY WOULD HAVE MADE THEM KICK THE EXTRA POINT

    they still would not kick a extra point even in a NC. The BCS doesnt give a shit how much is bet on the over/under. Come on man, thats dumb talk.

    the TD was actually huge for me as i had the 2nd half over 24.5

    and it was 24-0 auburn until that score

    you would be surprised how many people have no clue on the rules.

    i read a thread at another forum where multiple people didnt even realize you can't win by 13 anymore in NCAAF overtime

    that forum has sharp people

    of course they kick the XP if it means something or have the choice to go for 2

    they don't kick or go for 2 when time has expired if it means nothing

    you can return it to the end zone if you want but it wont count.
