    November boycott: No posting and decreased traffic

    SBR's forum environment is now similar to this scene from the movies 28 days later and 28 weeks later. In those movies, a disease called "rage" starts infecting people. They become the walking dead who mindlessly attack anyone not affected or showing any signs of intelligence. SBR posters have become infected with this.



    Threads in which people post and discuss picks intelligently are an endangered species. Those brave individuals who try to post and track their picks are ridiculed by the walking dead here or by "ghost" accounts. People can not get it thru their head that if a poster does 57.5% or so..he is winning money. Anger controlled individuals want constant perfection. When no can or does meet this, ego driven people use this as an excuse to air their hurts to the world. Racial slurs, words like jews, and unimaginative abbrevations or misspellings of the word Fukk are bantered about. The zombies of SBR can not even be cruel in an original way.

    What does all this mean for November....Why post here...I get the points automatically now. Why take valuable time from the day to read the posts.... Can not think of a reason. The sportsbook review subforum is usefull and I will continue to read that. The poker subforum for sbr poker promos. Players talk for a few minutes a day to see the stickies. My traffic here will be way down.


    Now to the most important matter....posting to books so that SBR gets a cut. I was a firm believer in that. The SBR Pro program has paid for itself in the two months since I renewed. I really wanted to deposit at DSI for their reload promo, and SBR would get the affiliate bonus. WIN - WIN except...SBR forum isnt about finding or picking winners anymore. Hard to find many good threads. Posters like Paco's epic thread last year drove him away. Heck even Lakerboy gets hassled. I dont care if a person wins a lot or losses a lot. Either scenario you can make money...its the 50-50 people that kill us all. The lack of quality threads kills the drive to use SBR as a tool instead of a fishbowl to watch simians throw feces at their cages. When I do not even want to look for picks to bet on...time to save my money and keep the depositin my pocket. SBR is losing money by letting the primates run this place.


    Happy Halloween and I can not think of a reason to post once in November or deposit at a book thru SBR or deposit at all. Monitor the cruelty and foster an environment of picking winners and this will be a much better place.

    because behind this keyboard we are all 6' 5" 250 pounds of pure muscle with a 12 inch rooster that make $100k a year from making $5000 daily bets. we are also above all of the "normal" people who work 9-5 and have a family to go home to and therefore don't post on sbr 24/7

    you are wrong people dont trash those who post picks and track their record, they trash scumbags

    usually the reason people get trashed in their picks threads is because they have been douchebags in that or other threads, for example people calling themselves gods gifts to handicapping, people claiming to hit crazy % but then go on to try to manipulate their record, people that have stiffed people either for points or cash etc. these people have earned the disrespect of posters and will get trashed until iternity

    example of people being arrogant pricks and their picks getting trashed for it (ssk, brahmabull, priskilla etc)
    example of people being stiffs and their picks getting trashed for it (samsncharge)

    I'll give you an example of the opposite, look at john ryans thread, he is a class act and noone trashes him because he keeps an honest record and stays out of people buisness



    I will admit there are those that harass anyone that posts a losing pick, if sbr bans a couple of those people things will settle down
