tebow could hit these receivers as wide open as they are.

Wide open receivers, all the time in the world to run, having the ability to gain yardage by running, decent rushing, etc. Dallas might as well skip the 2nd half.

yeah but the Vick of old would look for his first wr maybe second than if nothing there take off. now hes actually scanning the field and knows where ALL his wrs are supposed to be n putting it on the numbers, guy has made huge strides. have to give eagles o line credit too.

If the Cowgirls can hold Philidelphia to a field goal here and the score hold until halftime then it isn't at all bad for the under gamewise. I'm currently sitting on under 50.5 in-game.

when Vick gets pass protection, he's the best player in football

no doubt about it - he's throwing rockets all over the field to go along with 45 rush yards

he was dominating early last year putting up just inhuman numbers that we've never seen before in football because he was getting great pass protection. That's the key - Vick's height makes him a mediocre Qb under pressure cause he can't see the whole field like taller QBs can

He was successful early last year because teams didn't know how to prepare for him. That's why he got progressively worse at the end of last year and most of this year.

He's just not good at reading defenses, which is part of why his line struggles

and u think it's merely a coincedence that he's putting up insane numbers in this game while getting great protection??

Its 1 game... doesn't make him the "best player in the game when he has protection"

this is the whole point of why I started the thread. Reid has done wonders with him with reading defenses...hes being doing it since Game 1 of this season..it just hasn't reflected well cause of the fumbles and wacky turnovers. like I said regression to the mean. don't be surprised if the Eagles end up rattling off 4-5 straight wins..and I would say more but I don't know what their schedule looks like.

they have moved the ball up and down the field like this in nearly every game this year but would wind up with costly turn overs in the red zone or just out side of it and they didn't have a healthy o line nor did the defense have time to adjust to the new defensive scheme cause of the lock out.

now you are seeing what happens without the turnovers, a healthy o line and a defense adjusting and adapting to the new system. this team is going to be freakishly good, scary good.

and all this coming from a Giants fan who hates the Eagles.

you can look at WPA for players based on position to see each players value. vick is closer to replacement level at his position than any of the other guys i mentioned. he is not even the best player on his own offense. mccoy rates considerable higher. vick is like the 13 best QB in terms of helping his team win.

you guys should read more about advanced statistically data.

no, you should watch more games. Most of Vick's interceptions this year have been tipped balls by his receivers that should have been caught. Keep looking at stats. I'm sure they told you before yesterday that Philly's offense and defense sucked. That's why you took Dallas.

no i don't bet on NFL unless its a wong teaser. there is no point because the lines are too tight. and the sample sizes of games are too small to be a long term winner.

the number of fumbles vick has had contribute to how bad he has been. tipped passes are part of the game. it happened to romo last night. it doesn't matter. that is built into the statistically data. i also don't think the eagles have a bad offense. mccoy has been the second best back in the league this season.

but yeah their defense is not very good.
