free payouts aside everyone knows their checks take forever been numerous threads about it...in my opinion it is smarter to take the p2p and find a new shop one that sends its checks in a timely manner more to your liking. otherwise you just have to wait.

I guess I will have to open a complaint soon. Other than this issue, I haven't had any problems with WW. They should at least change the wording on their site to say checks take over 3 months to arrive. And SBR can acknowledge the new reality.Comment -

#110The options to withdraw were different for WagerWeb members versus Legends refugees. Let's get that out of the way right now. Legends refugees had no chance of getting a free withdrawal. So p2p wasn't going to be cheap either if you were cashing out.Comment -

#111this is a false statement. if you are a legendz refugee and have ever deposited into wagerweb you are allowed to get into their rewards program. now if you are merely working on your rollover amount then no you are not entitled to the rewards.Comment -

#112Most of would us would never have put a dime in wagerweb if it were not for legends folding in the middle of the night. Who in their right mind would put money in wagerweb, when wagerweb already has their money hostage? Seriously. You can't be that dense, or can you?Comment -

#115I have to agree with boston on this one. Seaborneq you seem to be bitching about something you shouldn't. First, you were complaining about not being in their rewards system and now you are complaining about high cost of payouts. You are lucky to have anything. Have you ever made a deposit? I doubt it. Books give bailouts so you will deposit. That's the only reason. They don't do it to allow you to freeload off them. Its good that you beat your rollover and you decided to go even the cheaper route of getting your money. You should of just taken the p2p and been happy you got anything. Now with that being said 2 months is horrible and no book should be taking that amount of time to pay. I never have played there nor would I ever, but being someone who lost almost 25k in 3 books that jumped ship on me with no bailout, I can't stand someone who complains when they do get one and complain about not being in their rewards system or other freebies you think you are entitled to. Once again no one forced you to deposit at legends and when legends went belly up you should of looked at this bailout as a Christmas present and not a splinter in your foot.Comment -

#117So you are the type who blames the victim for being raped. It's my fault for depositing at legends and legends goes under? Yes, I dare you to tell anyone who lost their money at betisland it us their fault that their money was taken. Obviously you don't understand simple business practices. If you give me your money and I give it to someone else and tell you to go it from them at their prices or demands, would you be mad at me or the person who is holding your money? Oh yeah, but you longer get touch with me so you are left to battle someone you never had any dealings with, or never gave your money. Yes, its easy to sit back and criticize and preach from high when its not your money. You are nothing but a "if I were you I would do..........."bitch. If you haven't had to deal with wagerweb as a legends refugee then stfu.Comment -

#120Businesses fail everyday, and most of them are barely above water. If you think it is relevant that you own a business in this thread, see yourself out. We are all independent contractors in this gambling game. Unless you own a sportsbook that is profitable, you can't tell me shit, and if you do own a profitable sportsbook I still don't want to hear shit from you.Comment -

#130To respond to a few of bostonboss's posts. I don't think any of us knew that it was going to take 90 days. But let's assume we did know... we're still saving $175 by waiting 90 days. That might not be much to you but unless you absolutely need the money immediately why not wait a while and save $175? In a related note... feel free to take this Poll. http://forum.sbrforum.com/players-ta...anteed-2k.html Let me guess... you chose the 1K today?Comment -

#132The whole saving money things blows my mind when we are talking about sports betting gamblers. If somone is concerned with saving a few bucks when it comes to getting paid it must be nerve racking as hell betting on games, you're right, cashout and throw your money in a savings account and quit betting.Comment -

#133To me it all comes down to expected value. If someone is willing to give me +120 on a literal coin flip I will bet it all day long even if I lose 10 in a row. If that same person decides to change the price to -120 I will immediately stop betting on it regardless of whether I am down or ahead. Many gamblers are so in love with a particular bet and gambling itself that if a price changes from +100 to -140 they'll still bet it without even thinking twice. One reason why so many gamblers lose is because they ARE NOT concerned with saving a few bucks. Would you rather have someone give you $1000 today or $1100 a month from today? I'll take the $1100 every time.Comment -

#135If you know a guaranteed way to more than double your money in a year you are a much smarter man than myself. Not many people can do this. How long have you been doing this? If a person started with only $1000 they would have more than a Million dollars in 10 years. In 17 years they would have more than a Billion. That's very impressive.Comment -

#138The main reason you don't deposit money in wagerweb when they already hold your money for rollovers is the exact reason I was burned by youwager last month. Long story short. I was offered a deposit bonus by youwager for a march madness special, details are not important. I had already completed the rollover already in the account. I say yes I'll deposit, but I want to withdraw so that the new deposit doesn't affect the already completed rollover balance. I am told don't withdraw or I can't give you the deal. The new deposit will be calculated separately. I am good with this. I go to make a withdrawal and guess what? The new money was combined with the already completed rollover money. Now the guy who offered the bonus won't respond to my emails. Just flat out lied to me. That is why you don't deposit money when you already have a rollover requirement. I don't know anyone who would rather do 2 rollovers instead of one. I know I now hate it. I was duped on that one, the same thing would have happened at wager web.Comment -

#139As far as being thankful to WW for bailing out us Legends refugees... I am thankful but at the same time, I assume Legends gave them a lot of money to do it. Legends wanted out (for legal reasons), but they didn't want to stiff. It's silly to assume WW did it without getting paid by Legends.
I am on day 99 now and I have not heard anything from WW. In addition, I have check requests that are 90, 80 and 58 days old.Comment -
