    Have gambling questions

    I am a writer. I would like to know if there are any people that could help me answer questions about the gambling world? My story is based on a down and out loan shark who is trying to get back into the good graces of his Capo before he is executed. I would prefer to talk to a real loan shark in person as well. I just don't know how to go about finding one. (Not for a loan, but for my story).

    Actually, I do have a lot of cash from my profession and have never bet over my head. I am working on this story with the intent to sell it to Paramount. They are interested. I just need facts about the loan sharking world. Everyone would be annonymous. I stand out too much to try to blend into a sports bar and ask around. Are there better ways I can come in contact with one?
