8 straight unders in Bowl games

Under has hit 11 of 15 times with one push (though depending on what you got it at, it could have been a W or a L)

Seems like offenses are rusty and the cold weather is affecting all these pass happy teams.

every time i take an over in these bowl games i feel like a complete square.

long layoffs for teams and makeshift football fields lead to lower scores, also feels like teams are quicker to give up on a game in these lesser bowls

It's a go with the under or don't bet at all philosophy. This happens EVERY BOWL SEASON. Last year I made a fortune betting unders. Doing the same so far this year. Usually I stay away from the pre-Christmas bowls, but after Christmas, it's unders galore.

The games to stay away from the under, though, are teams that run fast-paced no-huddle offenses. That's why I'm not going to touch Oregon-Texas or Duke-TA&M.

I'd say the under streak gets broken today, more likely in az state v TT but possibly in Oregon game, depending on whether Mariotta is back to full strength

I think one thing we overlook is some of these teams playing in early bowls don't have much in the way of indoor practice facilities. So when the weather goes to hell like it has been across the country they don't really put in good practices. Warm weather teams & schools with indoor facilities are usually playing New Years Eve and beyond.

Would be interesting to know who has a facility and who doesn't.

There has been only one game with both teams scoring. Wash st and col st. This has to be the least competitive bowl games I've ever seen. Tough to get overs when the games are so lopsided
