yeah, i'm a real talent alright
but yes buttercup, you were the first (and only) person who cared about me
although a lot of the aussie posters stepped up when my son was sick ie hospital visits, etc

I remember getting into fights with shari when she was a nobody. You could tell this woman was batshit crazy but a winner.

Shari is almost a dead ringer for the legendary Sick Gambler and I saw that instantly
Both have same qualities
relentless..will stay on forum 18 hrs per day if they are involved in a dispute and never lose the battle
both well written
both very detailed
both draw attention
both eat and sleep gambling maybe in different ways
both can dominate a forum with their eyes closed if they chose

Ah, it might be an Aussie saying. I meant as in they could see I was seriously overwhelmed and reached out to me. I was flapping there for awhile... sick kid and too far from home. Guys showed up to the Children's hospital, one poster giving me his laptop when one of mine blew after my son destroyed the 2 before, another guy sorting out my phone stuff when my son demolished mine and I couldn't leave the hospital, same guy sorting me out a great rate on a serviced apartment whilst waiting for our house to be ready after our other house torched, 7 or 8 posters showing up to move all of our stuff even though I'd hired movers, guys showing up when I was in the hospital myself, etc...

A lot of posters on here helped me when I just needed sane, non sleazy friends. And even many who were far away did all they could. Amazing people on this forum when we look past the silly stuff.

Shar-Bear....you're kiddo has already destroyed 2 laptops & a cell phone?? I think our kids are about the same age, right? My little girl is 4. She hasn't broken either of those (yet), but she did destroy our Universal TV Remote last week. How did the little man destroy those computers? I'm leaning towards dropping them.

Very good job JJ, Shari was a brilliant hire by Sbr. I have seen a few good women over the years on the boards like clevefan and a few others but most of them get tired of it and leave, its great when you see women with great personalities like Shari and Bodog Becky in the sports gambling world.
Shari doesn't need to be in the corporate world, you see alot more women in the poker world gambling and doing alot of things. I would like to see some books and companies partner with sbr and we will see shari alot more all over, like seeing michelle ng on Calvin ayre.com. Women are almost non -existent in the sports gambling world, its depressing, getting shari was a great move by sbr.
Kudos to the guys in Sharis life who stood up, our gender doesn't always get the best press.
JJ ,you have been on these boards forever and obviously have a great eye for innovation , but when are you going to get down to costa rica and start developing content and shows for sbr tv, you have alot of talent yourself. Jeffrey would love costa rica. You could be a traveling correspondent with Peter going all over the world with sbrtv to functions, parties ,casino openings,etc like bodog becky, you and Peter would be great at that. I love reading calvin ayre. com, I hope sbr tv will move in that direction, there is a ton of potential there at sbrtv.

He's absolutely awesome Hoja. So amazing after all of that crap. And yeah, there are really awesome people on here... I always was taught it's a true measure of someone if they help a person out and don't expect 'glory'. I kept waiting for the threads to start or even just the little mentions in posts about what so and so did for shari91 and her son. Dudeeeeeeeeeee.... He's 2 and he's the Terminator of all things Apple, plus our uni remote as well. My friends with both girls and boys have said there's a huge difference in the damage factor. Laptops were ruined because of juice and milk. Although they were already a bit war torn thanks to his hammering. Cell phone was because he kept sticking his tongue into the charging part at the bottom of my iPhones. Too much moisture fried the phones. Originally Posted by opie1988

yes she's a stickler for accuracy. reminds me of one of my aunts. She heard and smelled everything. I'll never forget this one time me and her son, my little cousin, were smoking a square on the deck of his walkthrough basement. His mom walks down from upstairs, down 2 flights of stairs, to the basement and walks outside, saying, "I smelled smoke."
Nothing used to get by that woman in her prime.
