Friday usually means one thing—my weekly Geno’s Picks video—but today it means more as I also got to read some wonderful comments about my UCLA pick last night. I suppose it’s too late to say I confused UCLA +4.5 with UCLA x4.5—because if the Bruins were getting 4 and half times what Arizona was getting, well then say no more as we cover by six.
Despite the loss, I am still 6-4 (60% ATS -4 with my college football picks) and that is my first Thursday loss in three weeks after nailing the Ducks—remember that hunting trip and Godsmack—and “covering up” with the Trojans last week.
Still I love the fine compliments from people like RI801 who—after trusting his money in a UCLA defense that offered less resistance than the Army of Poland 1939—still was nice enough to compare me to a Vegas powerbroker when he said “Wish I would of seen this before I placed my bet. This was put here by [a] Vegas Oddsmaker to get people to bet UCLA.” I may have stopped before he got to the part about it being a “completely atrocious pick,” or that “No pro bettor in the world would of taken UCLA, ever.” And I love the guy Whobuyit who said “great analysis”—although, come to think of it was actually under RI801’s comment.
Guys, I would never make you bet these picks but I think you are doing yourself a huge disservice if you don’t start yourself out with a good laugh every morning, administered in a five-minute read of what’s hot in the world of sports without ever having to hear Merrill Hoge say “factorback.”
That said, welcome to Friday and Geno’s Picks—five NFL picks with great insight and comedy that will make you the hit of the water cooler at work today and all you have to do is press play. Oh, and you’ll probably want to close the porn you have running in those other five windows… or at least mute them.

That said you can view the video below as usual or or go to the my new awesome daily page at the SBRforum.com to leave a comment there
