Books must be losing their rooster last 2 weeks or so

I've never seen so many public/best team sides win in my life like it has been going in the nfl/college (especially)

I expect to see a lot of slow paying complaints from the non top upper echelon books in the sportsbook and industry forum within the next 4-5 days.

Congrats to those who have buried the book but I hope you aren't playing with a BetUs type book.

I know you lost your shirt, pants, socks, hat and even the coach's spare rug this weekend Patty tinker toys however, you're right. The books have been taking a beating this year thus far. Makes some players wonder if a few of these new books will make it till the end of football season. Personally, I think we will see a new all-time high of book closures this year. If you're interested you can read this thread to get a better idea of whats going on.

shari, i was just gonna say something simliar, the top 10 ncaa teams are killing the books,I'm 14-6 in college football and dont know crap about it,I just keep betting the faves, doubt it continues much longer, might be time to fade the top 10 teams

Yeah but the good thing is that you acknowledge you don't know jack. It's the guys who think they're now the supreme cappers of the universe who will always ensure the books make back whatever they've lost and then some. Because those kind of guys don't have shut off valves... as soon as things start to balance out and their results fall to the norm or below, they'll start chasing their "money" aka their lost profits from the start of the season. The smartest thing for someone in your position to do is take like 70% of the profit you've made already and bank it. Play with the rest and have fun. Even if you blow that cash, you've now made a decent profit on a sport you don't know much about and can use that to build your bankroll in other sports. That's what I'd do anyway. I'm sure Patty would disagree

Big books would be fine and degenerates gonna lose it all on the tables anyhow, no need to panic and to notice that we only recognize the loss of the books in certain short amount of time have we discuss how they win in a year to year basis? No.

Not sure about CFB but there's no way they are getting buried in the NFL.

You assume that bettors have discipline and only play the Packers on Sunday? and only the top teams in CFB on saturday??

All the props/teasers/parlays they are losing.

Lions losing, Saints, Bills losing, Panthers losing, Colts not covering, Patriots not covering, Steelers not covering, not too mention all the Unders that buried all these people.

Unless every book released their win/loss figures after each week we really have no idea how buried they are getting etc

not sure about that. while the jets took more bets it looks like the fins took more money. the line dropped 2 points from open -9 to -7. so the books didnt lose

Players bet enough dumb shit like CFB teasers and random parlays that who knows if all those NFL overs have made a huge difference. Doesn't surprise me the books report winnings last week.

They're fine in NFL. It's CFB that's the problem.

The SBR sportsbook is down big in October. I would guess most books are underwater for the month.

Pinnacle or Cris took a couple of bets at +9 moved down to 7 and everyone followed, regardless of how heavy they were on nyj. there is a 0% chance that more money was bet on mia.

everything evens out over the course of the season...all the pubs will pay the books back in the remaining weeks...same story every year...few weeks public bury the books and then give it all back in the later weeks.
