Schwartz's reaction was even more classless.

Then he lied at the post game confrence and said he was never upset and he celebrates that way as well. Not upsett??? Yet he chased Harbaugh for half a mile?

    Classless and a liar.

Harbough didn't act right after the game. But at the same time, I don't think Harbough pushed him, which Schwartz said he did. Harbough needed to act more professional. But Schwartz looked pretty unprofessional reacting to Harbough's unprofessionalism. Poor attitudes by both coach. They are both at fault.

Didn't Jim Schwartz parade around on the field like a moron after every one of the Lions wins so far this year?

Who cares about both these numb nut coaches. Let's see them meet in the playoffs then bring this nonsense up. I think the Giants can take both these clubs out if they play mistake free football.

This might have been brewing from earlier in the game. When Harbaugh got the 15-yard penalty for the challenge, you could see Schwartz yelling something across the field at him.

what's good for the goose...... Schwartz is quite animated when his team wins so it's only fair that he feels what it's like on the losing end.

49ers would destroy ny if they didn't have 1 to, threw for 400 yds, and ran for another 200.

    get it?

Harbaugh is a piece of shit. Show a little class when you win--not an isolated case with this turd.

PS Not the first guy from San Fran that wants to shove it up your ass.

I think its an overreaction on both ends, and of course the media is blowing it up into a bigger deal than it is. Harbaugh apologized and said it was his fault.

No he really didn't...Harbaugh said he shook his hand too hard....implying that the guy is a p#$$y. I loved Harbaugh when he was with the Colts in the 90s but he's a complete a$$hole as a coach. When he was at Stanford he had Toby Gerhart running it up on people with a minute left instead of just taking a knee or playing backups. Harbaugh will get his in the end....they have no WRs and Alex Smith will play like Alex Smith before too long. If he pulled that $hit in the old days...Ditka or Buddy Ryan would've punched him in the face and started a brawl!

Schwartz should be more concerned about how he was completely outcoached after the first 10 minutes and his stupid ass two point conversion attempt and the pathetic way his team executed when they got the ball back with 1 minute to go. **** him

The guy played with a chip on his shoulder and now he coaches with one...hes a rookie coach, and he'll realize that type of nonsense doesnt belong in the game...forget what shwarts acts like after he wins...harbaugh should of shook his hand and showed some respect....

Jim Harbaugh used to play for Det and got traded to Bal, that time Swatz used to be DC.
It maybe he got so happy to beat his old team.

After seeing the close up from the camera following the coaches I can see why Schwartz was pissed. When I made the thread I was watching it live and didn't see the altercation where he chased him down the field...had already switched over to watch my Bucs play.

Harbaugh grabs his hand and shoves him away on his back....THAT is why he got pissed. Wasn't 'shaking his hand too hard' at all. I'm all for a celebration on the field after a win, go for it. But to act like an ass and just shove the guy...not professional at all. I've seen coaches (Pats coach and Spurrier) walk off without shaking hands at all...and I think even that is more understandable out of shame/anger than to grab the other coach and shove him out of the way.
