    never cried but sure have felt like it getting beat at the wire a few times id rather not remember (short term memory loses is a self defense mechanism in my case) thus chit canning that pick 4 that wouldve paid 1000's....
    this past 9/11 i almost cried when my 2 y/o filly lost a quarter million dollar race by a lil over a head....not really a bad beat but ida been sittin pretty had ron pierce gotten a c hair more room against the rail in the stretch. there's always next years 3 y/o season.
    i never risked more than i could afford to throw off a building at one time so thankfully ive "inner peace" in that respect.

    I had big money (for me) on the Pats yesterday, and for some reason I was sure I had gotten -9.5 and lost. I was devastated, then checked my 5dimes and lo and behold... -9! I've never been so happy to see a canceled bet in my life.
