Finally, someone ripped one of these media giants for violating our freedom of speech, instead of meeting with their publicist and deciding it was economically more sensible to retract comments and apologize to anyone and everyone. Here's a guy who won't sell out!

you have no freedom of speech rights with respect to an employer.
today i went to my boss to tell him i put a black dildo in his wife's ass while i was banging her vag. he fired me, but i told him he couldn't because it violated my freedom of speech. he didn't listen.
Freedom goes both ways, he was not arrested so he was not violated of his right to freedom of speech.

ESPN has been bullying and trying to ruin people who say things that don't fit their agenda for quite some time now. It may be legal, but shut the hell up about social issues and report the sports.

He did not directly call Obama, Hitler. He used an analogy that indirectly referenced Hitler, and Netenhya(???) meeting to Obama, and the Speaker of the House playing golf together. Who Obama was supposed to represent in the analogy was not said, and neither clarified by Hank.
B/c Hank is a redneck, people are jumping to the conclusion that Hanks comments were meant to have some racial connotations. I just think Hank was searching for the most slanderous thing he could say. He got what he wanted, and that was attention. But freedom of speech does not mean you do not have consequences for your actions.
The problem is, only certain statements and points of view have to deal with consequences
Consequence does not equal negative conclusions. Tell a girl she is beautiful, and she might give you her phone number. Call her a biatch, and expect a fight.
I think a more accurate analogy would be:
Be short and fat and call a girl beautiful, get insulted or dirty looks.
Look like Brad Pitt and call a girl beautiful, get her phone number.

the interview of what he said on that morning show monday morning is on youtube. pretty entertaining. he looked out of it and made a fool of himself but at least he said what was on his mind. i tried to ask hank why he drinks and rolls smoke.
