The fact that we're still stuck in a two-party system and arguing/pointing fingers at each other -- thinking it will somehow change if the party you support is in power -- is why this country is in bad shape to begin with. Our elected officials are a joke and our Presidents all share a common bond now -- from Reagan on, they've been in the back pocket of corporate America.
