The deal I posted has pretty much the same specs and it is $450, the only thing yours has above is a bluray drive....if you plan on playing bluray movies on your laptop then I guess pay the extra $200 for it. But only squares buy/rent movies, the sharps know how to torrent/usenet them for free

There's also some great sites to stream whatever movies/TV shows you want to watch as well.

Ant big difference between 15.6 and 17 inch screens?? Is bigger better for a guy in his 40's??

If you will be carrying it, it will probably hurt your back cause those things are bricks and you are past your prime.
If you are going to be using it as desktop than its just personal preference, for a guy in his 50s, bigger screen might better cause you dont want to put stress on your eyes. Posting is a serious business after all.
