    LaRussa sitting Theriot tonight

Another case of Tony overthinking it. I guess I shouldn't question this move since he invented the game but seriously why would you sit a guy who is 6 for 9 with a rbi and some big hits in the series.

Tony is only adding to the degree of difficulty.

    Makes for a better story.

sometimes you need a DH. the back of that lineup is pretty garbage.

three terrible decisions this series... Theriot sitting #1, Carp pitching on short rest #2, leaving garcia in the game last night before it was too late #3...

Theriot will be a DH in case of an emergency with men on base and chance to get a man home. If they fall behind

Hated would be a better terminology. I always disliked this guy. He won one world series with Oakland when he should have won 3. He did win a world series in St Louis with a team that had no business winning it though while he didnt win with so many teams in St Louis that should have.

anyways his team is winning right now.

Leaving Garcia in the other night was downright stupid.
He does that bone head shit all the time.

His managing never won WS rings, guys like Big Mac, Canseco, and all the rest won the ring for him.
Genius my ass, give me shit for this statement, I don't care, Torre was a better manager.

1996 he won with a rookie SS, Sierra, Duncan, he didn't beat the heavily favored Braves with Hall of Famers (well that year) he out managed Cox.

Gardy is a better manager than Tony, so is Scioscia, so are six others I can name.

Didnt his team blow a 3-1 lead versus the braves in 1996?

Chipper hit 6 homers that day, two off of Jimmy Key in the 4th inning alone.

You Cardinal fans hoping for a new manager better be careful what you wish for. What's a better alternative? LaRussa is a great manager.
