    It was. I can appreciate that Bay was trying to jar the ball loose but there's no need to go for the head and he intentionally bucked up and threw his shoulder into it. Dirty play. Ruiz showed restraint. Pretty lame how desperate the Cards are.

    There's nothing wrong with running over the catcher if he's blocking the plate but to take a shot to his face is flat out dirty. How about Pujols and Larussa whining about balls and strikes If anyone is getting squeezed it's Lee.
