Met a poster from the forum in Vegas who told me about a crew of people who grind VP and actually make a living.

Sounded like it was real and worked the way he explained it. But with the time taken to play and discipline to monitor the machines and play right and do it for hours, I'd bet they could make more money putting the same effort into almost anything else in the world.

It is real, I'm one of the few that play professionally, and have known or do know most of the top players of the game over the past 20-25 years here in Vegas.

.............some of the top machine players live in 500K+ residences and drive 50K+ vehicles, and have the freedom to travel and take time to do many things they enjoy.

There are those that are retired or choose to be semi-retired because of gambling, some through videopoker.

Yeah, I believe it can be done. This fellow seemed well enough off from what I could see. No doubt you probably know him and his brother as they have been at it there for more than 25 years.

There are very few people on forums such as Sbr, tgf, rx, or eog that truly know how top pros attack VP or know the top players........a couple that would are VOODOO and RMI...........forums such as Covers, WizardofVEGAS, twoplustwo have a few more.

fishhead, maybe you can bare this out as a strategy or not....

it seems, now that I've watched a bevy of royal flush hittin' vids, and have had some success with this strategy on slots, but when you have a royal draw on the board, many hit the royal after not drawing for a time span of 2-5 minutes before hitting the draw button..... it's as if the delay summons the royal.

have you employed this tactic, particularly when you are one card from a royal?

My dentist friend and I were playing in the Gold Nugget at the high limit back in January when he got 4 towards a royal. We BS'd for 3-4 mins talking about how many chicks we would pick up at the Blue Martini later that night if it hit. Eventually he finally pushed the button and hit the royal and a 10x multiplier. 10k payout.

Maybe there is something to stalling.

I'll wait until someone dumps money into the machine without winning anything and walks away a loser. Then go in behind to clean up. Have to wait until the coast is clear tho, some people don't like that

So out of millions who play vp a "handful" make a living? Great odds.

You forgot to mention that the living they make is no better than the people working on the machines. The only difference is the "pros" you speak of are getting shitty gifts like hot dog bun warmers or a 2016 Kentucky derby tshirt for all of their troubles. The reason casinos give shit to these"pros" is because they are losers who will lose even more for free cheap shit.

If you play vp for fun every now and then you will be ok. If you think you will beat the machines in the long run without cheating you are a dumbass like fishhead.

Guys- do not listen to fishhead....he gets a boner when he finds expired meds and food while digging through dumpsters.
