Anyone follow Colin Cowherd?
I don't care what anyone's opinion is on the guy-- he is sharp. Here's results from his plays thus far. He knows more about the "business" of sports more than most guys out there.

I like cowherd a lot. to bad he is only on the radio for an hour a day here.

his picks over the years have been pretty bad. I like his show (not the SportsNation) but if you heard him this past week, he even stated no way he keeps up his hot start....he knows he's not great at capping. But yep, his show is entertaining.

He's entertaining. Good link. But this guy also said Aaron Rodgers was not a good qb. He's off to a good start but I don't expect it to last.
Have always liked him. Has the mind of a sports gambler and it shows in all of his broadcasts.

Im surprised there so much positive. Ive only heard his commercial clips but he sounds like a standard media idiot that correlates two or three unrelated ideas so people will pay attention to him

He's doing well this year but look at past season's results. Nothing special.
His blazing 5 picks last year won 37%. It got so bad he stopped making picks and let his producer make them the rest of the season. This guy is solid gold fade material the rest of the way.
ehp is exactly right-------Cowherd was hitting at such a bad rate last year---he just fukin quit.
And he did something similari in October the year before-------he was picking games, and then flipping a coin for his selection. Oh yeah, Dan Patrick is kicking his ass in radio ratings.

he went 32-51-1 with his "sizzling seven" in 09, and was not much better last year with his blazing 5 (43-42-1). total fraud.
the fact that you know this is embarrassing. there are probably ten million more productive things you can do with your time than listen to Cowherd's drivel.

It didn't require much time or energy to know that fact about Cowherd turning things over to his producer.
If you have ESPN Radio on at any time during the day, and Cowherd's show hits your ears----he talked about it a lot. Especially his Friday show, and the build up to it----

You may want to take a literacy course. Nowhere did I comment on his "mental state". And once again.....it was listed on his website that someone else would be taking over his picks last year. Not really sure what your trying to prove, but you could definitely find a more productive use for your time because you are failing miserably here.

and, as mentioned, it takes 20 seconds to click on espn and find his picks. you don't have to listen to his show at all.
I followed them because I think he's an obnoxious dbag who couldn't hit 65+%, like he predicted a couple of years ago. And of course, he can't.
For a guy so stupid, he gets people to talk and to listen. That is evidenced by the response on this thread. His plays have been solid throughout his career on radio. He lived in Vegas, which gives him an edge of understanding the gambler mentality. Important to the masses, maybe not. To guys like us, he adds an underlying understanding to the craft we love. I dig the guy.
i like him a lot. he is quick to the punch, insightful, funny. born to do what he does. will go down as one of the greats.
