    Anyway, it's been done to death...The point is, somebody show a little creativity and come up with an original phrase or statement. However, quite a few of these broadcasters sound like they couldn't tie their own shoelace, so a unique thought may be expecting a bit much.....

    First time I heard it it was OK, but that was a ninth inning 2 out game winning homer.
    Walk off should only be used when describing something extremely dramatic, either a game winning two out bottom of the ninth homer, or a game winning granny in the bottom of the ninth.

    So far this season I've heard "walk of balk" (Mets game two months ago)
    "Walk off walk"
    and
    "Walk off bunt"
