    Good Lord! Are any of you guys watching the Marlins game?

    Is there ANYONE in the stands?

    Guy just hit a homer in the bottom of the 1st and they showed the stands, there is fuckin NOBODY there!

    FFS I guess the good news is that if you can outrun the other guy in the stands you can brag about getting a HR ball

    Dude are u kidding me. Its so fuken hot outside right now. When I go to marlins game I will only sit in the club lvl. I was at the dolphin game yesterday and I felt like passing out and it wasnt cuz of the dolphins performance....

    I understand its hot but holy fuk, I dont know what you consider club level but even behind home plate and down the lines theres almost nobody. They gotta fukin close up shop, no fukin way can they be makin money, this is like a private ball game

    miami has the worst crowd...same thing with the dolphins game in week 1.

    Marlins are building a new stadium...hopefully that will attract more crowd.

    Same issue with Tampa Bay. All florida pro teams suck in terms of fans.

    Lol That one fan has got 2 HR balls thru 3 innings from the same player! How many ppl can say that?

    He was also running for the 2nd one for some unknown reason as there wasnt anyone else in the stands...I guess its tradition

    marlins fans are awful as
    1-they are all geezers and are on fixed incomes
    2-illegals who cant afford to go to game unless rob someone
    3-people whjo want loria's head for fielding yet ANOTHER abortion of a team this year (THIS IS ME)

    terrible...but they cant wait for season to end as the payroll WILL JUMP TO the mid 80s next year with the new stadium and we will RAISE THAT NL EAST CROWN NEXT YEAR AND END THE PHILLIES REIGN OF 5 YEARS STRAIGHT...

As part of the deal, the Marlins will be known as the "Miami Marlins" when their new ballpark opens in 2012.[1] According to Forbes Magazine in 2011 the value of the franchise is $360 million.[2]
    Ya ever read anything and just cant believe it?

    How the **** can that team with about 500 ppl in the stands be worth 360 million?

    How the **** can they justify building a new $515 million dollar stadium for a team that only has 500 ppl in the stands on a "hot" 85 degree day in Miami?

    They could play at a fuckin little league field and not fill the stands.

    Somehow they manage to profit 20 million a year though, so apparently revenue sharing in MLB allows teams like the Marlins to still make money
