#41completely agree. when i read that my mouth dropped.
kid will chase on credit he doesn't have and will have bookies chasing after him left and right.
like every one said deemer. bankroll management. when your in that moment and you know what i'm talking about, you have your password typed in and your about to hit send and your risking like 10 units that you just built up slowly over the last 3 months (in the back of your mind you already knows its a loser before you hit send) YOU NEED TO SLOW IT ALL DOWN AND STEP AWAY AND PUT THINGS INTO PERSPECTIVE.
think about all things you can buy with all the money your about to risk on that 10 unit chase play
think about everything your about to give away in 2 hours that you worked so hard for 3-4 months
think about how mad your are going to be at yourself afterwards
and most importantly the phrase i have learned to tell myself is, "NO, live another day". (betting wise, meaning dont go bust)Comment -

I posted that thread about a week ago.
to give you some hope I reloaded 100$ and slowly but surely I am back at 700$ right now. (no I am not bragging)

#43it's bets and collection on a weekly basis. you start off well in the week, then you feel confident to continue play. you start off bad, then you are careful. it's not so hard for some.Comment -

#66That cappers never learn. Until teams are interconnected through schedule there is no real read for most. Public perception is based on little more than last years events and a meaningless preseason.
This year Offensive Line play is more of a handicapping factor and the run game will be paramount for many teams. The pass game will be less weighted in the overall scheme of things. The evolution of many team's offensive numbers is in flux due to personnel changes and development of a new generation of QB's and the aging of others, as well as massive changes to receiving corps and aging or injured offensive lines. Those teams with the most continuity and carry over from last season have a distinct advantage which is not necessarily indicative of skill.
Strength of schedule numbers are not yet defined. That is an extremely key number in both NCAAFB and NFL.
Linebacker play is still catching up in weighting but is getting there. Many teams are vulnerable in the flats and yards per carry stats on offense are still skewed. The importance of the nose tackle continues to be overlooked. The Niners do no look the same with Dorsey in for the departed Sapoaga, for example.
There are just so many changes year to year it is advantageous for most to let the numbers develop some backbone. There are those who can get a preliminary feel and have success early but get caught up in what they have seen and flounder later.
The game changes every week due to personnel development, continuity and opponent game plan. I still don't see enough cappers that understand how the game is played and that being able to determine what a team my or may not do any given week in game planning is key. Numbers only mean so much here.
There is a lot of good information out there. It takes a lot of time to cap this game right. Most don't put the time in.Last edited by billysink; 09-23-13, 08:09 AM.Comment -

Every play I made this year in MLB was documented on my sheet Benny. I finished dead on 60% and up 34 units or so over 125 plays over half of which were dogs.
Any football plays I make will be documented on this site in the same manner. Those who have want to see them will find them. I will be an active participant in any game or capping thread that piques my interest and will do my very best to impart some useful knowledge. I have never changed my approach as a poster in that regard. Those that have some use for what I post can use it. Those that don't can give me the cursory fukk you and carry on.
I may not make more than 30-40 plays spanning both NCAA and NFL a year. The juice, as you have stated yourself many times, will kill you. Variance must be managed in limiting exposure to juice. Much, much harder to do in this venue.
I do not hammer anyone for plays win, lose or draw. You will not find a post by me that does. I may point out a flaw or two in approach or logic in my own manner. Now if a poster needs one upside the ear for being a dikk they get what they get. But that is not play related.
If you read my posts and I know you do, there is a message in every fukkin one of them. Some may not like it, nor want to hear it but this ain't a fukkin parish here. I never made a fukkin post here I couldn't back Benny. Not a fukkin one.Last edited by billysink; 09-23-13, 07:40 AM.Comment
