    Ortiz is already getting paid millions just for taking the fight....why would he need to fix the game....also if Ortiz had won the fight he would of gotten even bigger matches in the future....could of had a fight with Pacquaio.

    Referee did clap his hands, but as tradition in boxing the boxers went to touch their gloves in sportsmanship so it probably was a cheap shot, but a legal shot.

    Regardless of it being a cheap shot or not it has nothing to do with the fight being fixed.

    You guys can think what you want...

    -the whole sport is shady
    -the weigh-in "showdown" was staged
    -Cortez explaining the rules to Mayweather pre-fight was a sham
    -They were basically sparring up until the end
    -Ortiz went from a viscous warrior that was willing to head-butt to win, to an apologetic pussy that wanted to kiss and hug floyd 5 Times before taking not 1, but 2 sucker punches without defending himself while the ref is literally 1 foot away and magically not watching

    Believe what you want, but never underestimate what humans will do when backed into a corner. There is Billions of dollars on the line here, and MMA is putting boxing in the grave.

    Or you could believe that Cortez had a mental lapse, Ortiz had a mental lapse, and Mayweather turned into a dirty fighter to win a fight he would have won anyways.... ALL AT THE SAME TIME!!!!!!!

    King you dont know what your talking about.

    Boxing has been like this for years. Which is why UFC has steamrolled them over. People wait months for these fights then when they get so dissappointed with the result they yell fix!

    The fact is, if it was fixed they would have either made the fight look closer or made floyd look way better to hype up the Pacroid fight.

    By the way, Pacroid vs Delahoya, Delahoya didnt even throw any punch's, now that was fixed.

    Answer this iifold....why would Victor Ortiz throw the fight.....what has he to gain?

    Ortiz has nothing to lose, even if he loses the fight he can still get bigger paydays in the future if he flashes some excellence or even just goes the distance.

    Boxing has been dead for a while thanks to ppv. Its to damn expensive to get tickets to the fights, and most normal people arent going to pay $50 dollars to watch a fight on their tv. If big fights were shown on espn more people would watch them. UFC will also get destroyed because of this. Hell most people who watch ufc are just fan boys who wear tapped out shirts and crowd into a hooters with other homos to watch. That fad wont last forever and when it does ufc will be out the door too.
