i am not a fan of any poitician - but at least Obama is offering a plan and he doesnt' laugh when a Republican presidential candidate says we should let the uninsured die in the streeet (and the Tea party crowd cheered at his statement yestreday). remember - the French empress Marie Antoinette sarcastically said that the peasants should eat cake if they don't have bread, and this type of arrogant behavior eventually cost her her pretty little head. Aren't Republicans (especially the tea party) playing with fire, as the middle class descends into poverty ?

Loved the post. But i think it is simpler than your take.

The US electorate wants progress. They swept the Dems into power in 2008 and they have made zero progress. Now they are going to pay a steep price for not doing anything. Even the lower middle class is against tax hikes on the rich. But the Dems keep trying to spend and tax without a clue on how to get businesses hiring. I think the spirit of the rank and file Dems is breaking. They can't support their party's ineffective policies to improve the economy and therefore they are about to be swept out of office.

The dems had all 3 houses of government the 1st two years and look at the mess they've created, these two elections today sent a message that people are tired of the dems shit, in 2012 the repubs will take back all 3 houses of government and get us back on track.
