Does the US produce anything other than computer stuff anymore?
The US has become the biggest retailer in the world. Every person in this country currently works for a retail company, service company, real estate, oil company or the government
No manufacturing left at all, how can a country compete on the world's stage when its only competitive advantage is retail (which we use to make China rich) and fast food stores (which creates only min wage jobs)?

USA makes everything, cups, toys, home supplies, etc, it's just lazy people don't look for them and especially don't want to pay a extra 50 cents for them. Real patriots buy American and worry about other Americans. Selfishness has destroyed this country.
We still manufacture a lot of machinery and construction equipment.
Japan and Hungary got us crushed on this.

Farming - almost nonexistent, how many farmers do you know I know of one and I live in TN

I realize the hardware is largely manufactured in other countries, but the largest internet/computer technology firms in the country are based in the US, Google, Apple, Microsoft, Facebook, Intel etc
And if your ass isnt fuckin retarded enough to see the skyrocketing unemployment rate I feel sorry for you, what is it attributable too, well how bout the lack of manufacturing and the millions of factories laying ppl off, going out of business or moving their plants to cheap labor countries
You cannot have a gigantic trade deficit like the US has (in 1983 our trade deficit with China was 300 million, now its 300 BILLION! That's a 1000x greater trade deficit in the last 28 years). You cannot produce nothing in a global economy and avoid skyrocketing unemployment, high inflation and economic disaster, hell the Chinese already own half the country and produce half our goods and its only getting worse. I asked for answers and I got them, the US produces absolutely nothing other than internet/computer technology as I already realized.
We are living in a consume only society and that simply does not work

Americans believe in capitalism and not paying more for CEO and pensions at General MOtors because they are American.
Then Americans will watch the quality of life here cease to exist and the quality of life in China greatly improve, good for them
The CEO makes 1.3 million dollars a year, that's hardly outrageous pay considering he manages the largest auto-manufacturing company in the country, many times in recent years the CEO has cut his pay to $1
America wants to support 3rd world level incomes bc they save a few bucks at the checkout line, then they will enjoy minimum wage jobs with no benefits for the rest of their lives
