    Big fan of Metallica and Pantera. Some Megadeth gets me going, but I don't like a lot of stuff outside of those two I mentioned. It might be blasphemous, but I don't even like Priest or Iron Maiden. Much respect for the innovation, just not a huge fan of them. A newer (though not that new) band I like is Tool. Not even close to the heavy stuff that Metallica and Pantera kick out, but Danny Carey's a hell of a drummer and they can wail out a hard song every once in a while. Listen to Hooker with a Penis for an example of what I mean.

    I saw Anthrax on Jimmy Fallon a few nights ago, they got Joey Belladonna back, sounded pretty good but the song kinda sucked.

    metal head here. though in my opinion there are too many different sub-genres nowadays and people define things so differently.

    been to 3 straight mayhem festivals, most recently in holmdel this past july to see megadeath, disturbed, godsmack, and my favorite metal band out there: Trivium
