    Joe Paterno Is a Hack

This senile prick has free loaded on his assistants for the last 10 years that carried him for 50+ wins that go under his name

Bowden was 100x more involved with game decisions and recruting than this fraud

Take a nap on the couch you bum youd be more useful

He really shouldn't get Win credits for Games Coached from the booth. Why not just watch the game in his den at home and record a Win? He's too brittle/health hazard to coach from sidelines.

Bowden? That old geezer was hiding his own Easter Eggs during games the last 5 years....100x more involved? Maybe putting his own diaper on

They are getting dominated. But he was a great coach in his day. Hopefully this will be his last year.

If you believe the rumor mill....with this being his last contract year Urban Meyer is the coach in waiting as The Chancellor politely tells Joe it's time to enjoy his final years as a legend.

He should be forced out. He's just being selfish at this point and it's become embarrassing to watch.

If yo bet Penn State you are down right pissed, which is cool. Don't be pissed that Alabama has so much more talent than Penn State it isn't even funny. Don't be pissed at JP.

Good analogy. Reminds me of Ali well past his prime getting punched around by some toothless bum. Papa Joe's team looks like a middle school team now.

Will probably pass Eddie Robinson for most wins all-time by division I coach [Needs 6 to tie, 7 to pass] and retire.

This was one of my main reasons for taking Alabama...they have the clear advantage in coaching. Perfect example was the opening drive...PSU had to burn 3 timeouts just to figure out what plays they wanted to call...pathetic

Penn State athletic director missing a pair of testicles!

Doesn't have the guts to fire Joe Shades for fear of crushing backlash from mentally challenged PA St fans

I feel for Tom Bradley, the guy has been there forever and JoePa somehow has the political power to hang on to his throne while everyone else does the dirty work. If I'm Bradley I tell them if JoePa is coach next year I am taking a job elsewhere.

There is no way PSU will win anything if they keep rotating or auditioning the QB's. Pick one guy and stay with him.

I recall a poster either here or cbssportsline 1-2 years ago that said he tailgated with the wives of the head assistants and they told him, through their husbands, that the program is in chaos as far as direction and leadership. The assistants are left squabbling over control of the team. One of them just presumes dubious authority as some de facto head coach and they just go with it.

That wouldn't surprise me....my brother goes there and there's always talks about Joe protecting his boy Jay. The biggest issue with the program is the recruiting side. Paterno hasn't been out on the road in years, he let's his posse do all the traveling and they've been rolling in average recruits at best. Penn St used to always have 5-star recruits...now they're lucky if they get 3/4 star....most are less. They need someone like Meyer or Peterson to come in and re-energize the program and fan base. They just institituted a bullcrap ticket program this season that has pissed off season ticket holders quite a bit.

As a PSU grad. of 2008 I completely agree, Paterno needs to step down. You can't be sitting up there in the sky box trying to coach, Penn State will never fire him though because of how long he has been there and what he has done for the school, I just hope he finally gets some sense and steps down after this year. I think his contract expires after this season, but I can't remember.

He's not "trying to coach" -- hasn't been for years.

Penn St. might fuk around and win the Big ten this year. Their D looked pretty good today. They were only a 10 point dog to the #3 team. No reason at all for him to step down.

When Joe finally gets pushed out, Penn St. becomes a middle of the pack team.
