Federer looking crisp today against an unusually slow Djokovic.

Can't call it a win, yet, but I put money on Fed and Fed to win the whole thing. You can never count out Djokovic though.

Djokovic will probably win the 3rd set but Fed backers should start feeling good. I think he will win this. Oh and yes... you can never count out Djokovic.

Sorry about the big loss Wulfman. That's the game we play though. Hope you can grind it out and get it back.

it was not a big loss. god bless live betting . i hedged it out. i came out up 34 bucks because nole won. took the 750 i would have won on federer and put it on djok at -163 after he was up a break in the 4 th set.

That's great that you didn't end up losing money on the match after all! Though at those odds, $750 should have netted you $460, which is $40 less than your initial investment. Where's my math wrong?

Still peanuts compared to how it could've been. Congrats on making the right call at the right time... I'm usually too much of an optimist to hedge in time

Always nice to have a huge bankroll to hedge pretty big bets live.

If this is true then although the result was good, the decision was bad. Hedging is usually -EV. Now if the $500 was a big amount of your bankroll and you just didn't want to risk it then I can understand it. But then again if that's the case then this thread shouldn't even exist because the bet should have never been made in the first place.

two years in a row and the exact same thing
At Feds age I got to admit he is still good but he gets too tight when on verge of victory in late rounds

not sure you understand what i did. if fed had won i would have broken even cuz the 750 i risked on nole would have been returned to me. the way federer played in the third and fourth set there was no way i was riding it out.

i should have done it earlier and got both players at + money for a profit either way is that what you mean ? yea you are right but i was greedy and thought federer would pull through.

    He clearly had him then
