    A poor guy at work is stuck in the elevator with no light and no AC. we managed to get the door open about half an inch and slid him some otter pops. Now I'm at home posting on SBR from my phone and that poor bastard is still stuck in the elevator.

    Problem is unknown and appears to have originated in Arizona and might be heat related.

    "effecting millions of southern california residents" all 1.4 million san diego gas and electric customers effected, along with half of southern OC and most of coachella valley (palm springs, La Quinta etc)

    So yeah I would say it is a major one.

    I can ride down to Channel Islands and send some semaphore or maybe morse code by slapping the water. A little more direct line from there than from LA

    Is it a good game so far?

    I'd go to a sports bar but it'd probably be a waste of time because they probably don't have power either. I'd call them but I can't make phone calls or text. At least I can surf the internets and talk to my SBR peeps.
