    LOCK OF 2011: Kent State +38 against Alabama.

    There's no such thing as a lock but this is a good spot to bet on.

    Last season, there has been only 1 game late in the season where Kent State lost by more than 38 points.

    It is unlikely got Alabama to cover the spread with 38 points with missing key players.

    I hate that you threw out the l word, because I really like the play as well. The only way Kent State doesn't cover is if Bama scores more than 14 on defense. I don't think Saban will be putting the pedal to the metal against his alma mater and the place that gave him his start... But it seems that this is a popular angle, so idk. I'll be putting a small bet on it, but it's getting too popular.

    30+ points spreads are a crapshoot. Bama could be up 31-0 at halftime and win 45-7. Just look at Wisconsin-UNLV...Badgers dominated by didnt pay out

    You've taken the wrong angle on this one.... it's not "can Kent St cover" (because they can't) but "will Alabama play to cover" (and they won't) So I agree with the play. Kent St and the 38.

    you can call run plays all day but they will still easily move the ball even with that. its not like he's going to tell the qb's to start throwing the ball out of bounds or throw turnovers....looking at the game from the point of saban not running up the score of his "alma mater" is stupid and you should stop gambling
