Georgia vs Boise State Predictions
I was just reading an article from Tony Delvecchio about his opening weekend college football plays he says he has the biggest play of his life on Boise State and Georgia. He also states Boise is favored by 2.5 and that the line is off atleast a touchdown, what you guys thinks? Predictions?

no telling yet... have to see who makes it to the season w/out getting hurt/suspended/arrested.
UGA has issues on the OL and a true freshman coming in expected to carry the load. Only experienced RB they have is Richard Samuels who will be moving back to RB after being switched to LB last yr.

UGA DL should manhandle Boise OL
UGA will have a huge crowd advantage. Won't be a home game for them, but will be close. Their speed should be magnified even more on turf. Both teams will wear Nike Combat uniforms. No word yet on if Bobo will be decked out in a clown costume.

Boise wins this game. Boise makes a habit of winning theese types of games. UGA has a much more important game the following week against South Carolina. A loss to Boise State means nothing. UGA is NOT going to be in the NC hunt this season. Only a homer would think so. If UGA loses to South Carolina, they may not be in the hunt for the SEC East title. Richt knows this.
Boise wins somehow, someway. Not sold on UGA but Boise is for real.

Richt isnt overlooking this game, and neither is the team. if you've read anything about the program this summer you would see that.
your right, SC is a huge game, but a gameplan for SC wont be put in place until after the trip to ATL.
Boise comes in w/ a nothing to lose attitude which is in their favor. They lose to an SEC team, no big deal... they win and ESPN will be talking about Boise in the NC game for weeks to come
Geo. will beat Boise....the dreams of the big little school end early this year for Boise......TCU will have to carry that banner this year.

I've gone against Boise the last two years, not gonna make the same mistake. Boise by 10
Considering Vegas has never caught on to Boise (BSU has covered more than any other school the past 5 years), I would blindly put my money on this Senior led Boise team... and I'm an SEC homer.
I smell a Boise State -3 line with Georgia backers taking ML citing "value" whereas Boise backers will lay the points only to see a 1-2 point victory.
With there weak schedule, Boise always runs up the score looking for the big bowl game. Outside of one or two games, margin of victory is all they have to hang their hat on.

That's because none of these pussy ass big programs will play them.
On a truly neutral field, the original Boise -6 was a fair line, but with the game being in Atlanta, I would call this game Boise -1. UGA and SEC fans will disagree, but Boise is a true powerhouse. Georgia will have a hard time winning this game.
Additionally, this game is by far the largest hurdle Boise St has to face this season. A win for the Broncos could very well lead to a 12-0 season.

Lets see, Georgia wins about an average of 3 games the last 5 years and is severely overrated because they play in the SEC.
Meanwhile, Boise State is a top 3 team this year. I wonder who has the edge here

I think Boise St could dominate Georgia in this one. I also think this is Richt's last season at UGA.
I predict this is a game i will not bet but will be a hell of a watch actually think Dawgs can win this.
fair line is Boise -7.5 (that is giving Georgia a full home field advantage)
Boise returns a lot from last year in key spots and Georgia is just down, they aren't an elite program
In Athens this would be a complete Geo. blow out, in a dome, not so much. Boise -7 is right, too many freshman mistakes for Geo. to win.
so homefield advantage takes a blowout to a touchdown loss the other way?
