If GB continues to go no-huddle like they have been in preseason, this might go over easily. GB defense is good though, don't see the Saints putting up more then 21 on GB's defense.

The stupid meaningless patriots game has really lit up the bandwagon.
Lions are not overrated. Yes its the preseason but the lions have been doing all this without some key players on defense and also megatron hasnt played much if at all. The biggest issue for the lions is the run game but Stephan Logan although undersized is fast and hard to tackle. Best and Logan should be able to get some yards on ground. On defense you saw how the lions D got after Brady the whole time. That was without Fairley and Van den Bosch. If the lions can stay healthy I'm sticking to my word, NFC north champs or at least wild card

    HOME DOGS
    Chicago +3 hosting Atlanta
Bears will be pumped for home opener. Falcons are soft.
Cutler has something to prove and will do it.
Only fanboys are laying pts with Atlanta.

    Rams +4.5 hosting Philly
Rams on the upswing on both sides of the ball
and Bradford is just as good a QB as Vick is.
    Cadillac Williams is "running well".
But do not bet it yet because if DeSean Jackson signs with Philly there may be LM.

    ROAD FAVE
    Patriots -7 @ Miami
Miami has pieces which are not together and a lack of talent.
That is not a combination for success against perhaps the
most prepared team of the preseason. I find it hard to believe
the Pats will struggle. Hit this now because NE bettors always
    pound at the last minute.

    HOME FAVE
    Cardinals -7 hosting Carolina
Carolina ? Srsly ? will they win a game this year ?
Do they even belong in the NFL at all ?
Whisenhunt has answers for anything the Panthers can bring.

you would probably come out ahead betting the under in ever game on the board in week 1... I expect a lot of low scoring games.

I personally really like the Chiefs at home (teased to -1.5 ) for Week 1. Definitely staying away from Det-TB and ATL-CHI. Can't decide on my other teaser (Browns to -1.5 or Eagles +0.5). Maybe NE -2.0, any thoughts?

Overs cashed large early season last year. Books eyeing revenge? Public wins usally early on in nfl and books get it all back faster than you believe.

Simplify things: take single-possession home dogs (less than 6 points) and road dogs of less than 3 points.

Bang on. I think DET can win the division. Will they? Most likely not, but they will make a strong push for it. I think they win convincingly week 1. TB are the pure definition of average and are still a year or two away from being legitimate playoff contenders. Stafford and company are going to get the lead in most of their games and that D-line is going to tee off on quarterbacks. If you don't have a solid O-line or give them consistent help, you better have those concussion tests ready. It won't be long until.......get ready for it.....the Lions will be feared. Who woulda thunk it.

i love the steelers under. smash mouth low scoring football. Both teams will have to settle for field goals.

What do you guys think about the Skins vs G-men?
Redskins are 3-0 in pre-season right? is Rex Grosswoman foreal?

I love the eagles -4.5. With their improved defense and high powered offense, I would like to think they kick the Ram's ass. Kind of surprised its not -7. But it has moved up from -3 in the last few weeks, so who knows where it will end.

Vick hasn't looked terrible this preseason but vs. the Steelers when he made 3 dumb passes. In the other two preseason games he looked good. You are not going to see all out season vick in the preseason, he is not going to risk injury to win a preseason game.

He shoulda had 5 INT's vs PIT. And you might want to explain his hit on Polamalu if you don't think he would risk injury. The guy is a straight up gamer whether it's preseason or not.

But I think PHI will beat STL with their defense alone...Vick can struggle and they will still win. Personally I think McCoy carries them on offense week 1.
