These NFL SOS are a little "inaccurate"

Let's take a look at the St Louis Rams for Example:

Considered one of the easier schedules based on last year:

    Wk
1 Sep 11 PHI @ STL Edward Jones Dome 1:00 PM Tickets FOX 710

2 Sep 19 STL @ NYG MetLife Stadium 8:30 PM Tickets ESPN

3 Sep 25 BAL @ STL Edward Jones Dome 4:05 PM Tickets CBS 713

4 Oct 02 WAS @ STL Edward Jones Dome 1:00 PM Tickets FOX 710

    5 Bye
6 Oct 16 STL @ GB Lambeau Field 1:00 PM Tickets FOX 709

7 Oct 23 STL @ DAL Cowboys Stadium 4:15 PM Tickets FOX 713

8 Oct 30 NO @ STL Edward Jones Dome 1:00 PM Tickets FOX 709

9 Nov 06 STL @ ARI University of Phoenix Stadium 4:15 PM Tickets FOX 713

10 Nov 13 STL @ CLE Cleveland Browns Stadium 1:00 PM Tickets FOX 714

11 Nov 20 SEA @ STL Edward Jones Dome 4:05 PM Tickets FOX 712

12 Nov 27 ARI @ STL Edward Jones Dome 1:00 PM Tickets FOX 708

13 Dec 04 STL @ SF Candlestick Park 4:15 PM Tickets FOX 716

14 Dec 12 STL @ SEA CenturyLink Field 8:30 PM Tickets ESPN

15 Dec 18 CIN @ STL Edward Jones Dome 1:00 PM Tickets CBS 704

16 Dec 24 STL @ PIT Heinz Field 1:00 PM Tickets FOX 713

17 Jan 01 SF @ STL Edward Jones Dome 1:00 PM Tickets FOX 716

You look a little closer and the schedule is skewed by a few teams and the division which they only went 3-3 in anyway. Unless they go 6-0 in the division which they won't, I don't know how they win 8-9 games.

This is a team can easily start 1-5, so much for an "easy" SOS.

Strength of schedule means nothing in the NFL.....like you said it's all based on last year and in the NFL it's totally unpredictable how a team is going to do.

Thanks you did your homework- Ihave left the Rams off my charts due to the fact that I like Bradford and their low risk passing game- thanks to this research by you-will take a hard look at the total wins in Lake Tahoe this weekend. gl

Even the Cleveland game looks tough. Depending on weather. Bradford in the Cold.

good looking out for sure, Im on the under as well. I could easily see a 1-8 start, 2-7 and that would ruin the rest of the season. Even if they win 3, 3-6 going into the final games there is no way they are winning out and/or a sweep of the division.

Playing the NFC West teams twice a year would automatically give you a weaker schedule, based on last year.

Small recap. Rams 0-5, looking to go 0-7 possibly...

So much for winning 9 games and the division as most predicted.
