If you STILL love LSU check the F in.

    Guys, WTF?

Do you know what this defense is going to do to that timing based rythem offense of Oregon? This is a SEC defensive beating. C'mon! Let's stay together here.

I'd rather go with a strong offense than a strong defense this early in the season. All it takes is one defensive guy to be out of position to open up a hole. Oregon wins by two touchdowns. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!

When the front line of LSU defense pushes the Oregon OL back into their own half it will be easy points for LSU offense.

I love Lsu and I will tell you why. Down in LSU you will find the most corrupt boosters and fans. Every tackle is worth five hundred dollars I hear, and a touchdown well that is worth five grand! You have to love the corrupt LSU tigers!

WTF?? LSU has a better defense than the Auburn team that totally dominated that offense. Not sure about the final score except LSU will have more than Oregon. I'd throw out 24-16.

LSU will have to get it done with Defense or some young guys will have to step up. Their best WR Russell Shephard has also been suspended on an NCAA investigation different matter.

Their whole season intrigues me more than just this big game early. They have a pretty tough schedule and won some close games last year. I think the books had them at 9.5 wins on the season. What do you guys think?

I'll take the over on 9.5. I only see 2 losses if that, but a third one could be close...

Well i mean they lost 2 last season within the SEC and really you could argue they should have lost 3 with the TN game. I don't see based on what's happen how they do better this season then last. My only question is do they lose 1 more. I have them locked in at 2 SEC losses but where does the 3rd loss come in? It will have to be a close SEC loss or if they lose early to OR then it looks like 3 losses for sure. I think the line is spot on at 9.5 b/c imo they lose 3 if they lose to OR and 2 if not.

I hate Lee starting and would have gone with Mettenberger instead, but LSU still wins because Oregon won't score more than 17 points.

I hate LSU but I still think they win this game.

It doesn't really matter who their QB is, their defense is what carries them. Oregon has been shut down in big games by good defenses. Even Boise State shut them down the year the Ducks went to the Rose Bowl. I don't think Oregon got their first 1st down of that game until midway through the 4th quarter.

I really don't think losing Jefferson will hurt LSU that much. It's not like they're losing some great QB.

As an Oklahoma alumni, I was actually thinking OU and LSU had a great chance at playing each other in New Orleans for the BCS title this year. It would be nice to have a re-match of the 2004 Sugar Bowl. I want some revenge.

Zach Mattenberg could be twice the qb Lee or Jefferson could be he is there best shot to win. Russel Sheppard being out wont help matters.

but Oregan damn sure wont be able to throw the ball on lsu either because they are loaded in the secondary with 4 studs and oregans weakest position on its team is wr.

Because it is still off the board at most books. They may slowly start hanging numbers back up today (Monday) unless there are other pending suspensions that nobody is talking about.

Vegas Insider has Jarrett Lee listed as OUT, but I know that is not right. They've had Jefferson & Lee both listed as OUT for the last 4 days. Not sure what's going on there. I do know that Lee will definitely start against Oregon.

F'n A. if LSU loses I'd be shocked. This shouldn't be too difficult for LSU in my opinion. Oregon won't be able to move the ball an inch in this game. LSU will only need a FG to win it. Take the Under while you're at it.
