it depends on the beer. most beers between 6-8 C (42-46 F)
but it is 3 C (37 F) for my favorite beer Fosters. on the other hand if you drink famous Irish dark beer "Guinness" or "M.c Evan's" should be 10-11 C (50-52F)

As cold as you can get it before turning to ice.

While we're talking about beer temp here's a cool trick for you guys to try.

Put a beer in the freezer and just before it freezes take it out. Make sure the beer in still 100% liquid then try hitting it on a table or try to take a month full that seems to work the best and the beer will then freeze instantly. It's pretty cool to see and also I think this works better in long neck bottles so maybe try with a corona

    6 C.

But make sure your glass is also cold. Don't drink beer from bottle, period. Always use glass to maximize the taste!

    So it's something between 32-48 (0-9).

Thanks guys. I will try the trick with putting the beer in the freezer tonight. Wouldn't the bottle freeze and break if I leave it their too long? How many minutes should I leave it in?

Just keep an eye on it you should be able to judge it half decent. Maybe 20 minutes or a half hour is enough if the beer is already cold.

Heineken is recommended to be served at room temperature. Thats what it says on the bottle anyway, not saying i necessarily like it like that.
