    Flanny was one of the funniest baseball guys ever. I used to live in Virginia growing up and drove to Baltimore many times to see the Orioles play. Saw Flanny pitch a few times. The late 60s thru the 70s and early 80s were a great time to be an Orioles fan. As bad as it's been for years now I don't think any Oriole fans were blaming the job Flanagan was doing on the Orioles slide. It's a sad time in Baltimore and I hope the Flanagan family can find some kind of peace.
