Both Sides come into this contest having years to forget (Pt.Adelaide moreso). However, both teams will look to end the year on a bright note at the 1st ever AFL game at adelaide oval.
Melbourne's win last week over the exhausted Gold Coast was the 1st under caretaker coach Todd Viney and ended a 5 game losing streak.
Pt.Adelaide on the other hand stretched finals side Essendon last week and will be biting at the bit having given away a 34 point lead deep into the 4th quarter. Heading for the Wooden spoon (only 2 wins for the season) the power need to hope that hawthorn beat gold coast (as this is written) and that they ensure a win over melbourne in order to avoid finishing on the bottom of the ladder.
Port have ceased on the opportunity to back Mr.Tenacity Dean Brogan for his farewell game. This, and the motivation for seeing that the wooden spoon is not there's makes this writer believe Power will do the locals proud and get up for their 3rd win of the season.
1 unit on power +7.5 and half a unit on Power ML (+129 pinnacle).
